Another day in the Playoffs, and we are enjoying it! Our TBS categories are nearing the end of their season, and in #LaCronica we will tell you about the Torrejón Basketball Academy and its performance on the FBM basketball courts, both away games and home games at the Javi Limones and Nuria Fernández courts on April 18th and 19th, including the matchups and the next round:



Girls Under-10s: Second Year in the Playoffs for the Round of 32. We played and lost to C.B. Las Rozas away (47-22). It has been an exceptional season for the girls, heads held high.

Boys Under-12s: First Year in the Whites after their initial victory, they had a very close match (62-62) against Baloncesto Villalba, who still have to find out who will win. We will play away at C.B. Moratalaz on April 25th at 3:00 PM.

The U12 Girls First Year team had a bye on April 11th and 12th. We will be in the reclassification round for positions 46th to 50th in the competition, in a five-team group stage. On April 25th, we will play away against Ábaco 01SF at 1:00 PM. We will then play our next match on May 10th at 4:00 PM at Javi Limones against Patrocinio San José.

The U12 Girls Second Year Blue team also had a bye on April 11th and 12th. We will be in the reclassification round for positions 85th to 87th in the league, playing against Pintobasket Negro and Arganzuela Centro, whom we will face on April 25th at 11:00 AM at their home court. We will then face Pintobasket Negro again on May 10th at Javi Limones at 4:00 PM.

The U12 Girls Second Year team is in the Playoffs. We played in the Round of 32 on April 11th at Javi Limones against GSD Baloncesto Alcalá. We are back in action in FBM Gold for the second year running. We repeated the feat on April 18th (54-52) away from home in a nail-biting loss. Well done to José Gismero-led team!

The Under-12 Second Year team reached the Playoffs but fell to C.D. Estudio Blanco in the FBM Round of 32 in the Gold category, also away, on April 18th (90-39).

The Under-14 First Year Girls team remains unstoppable and top of the league, securing their first victory in the FBM Round of 32 on April 11th away (40-51) against C.B. Zona Press. They are 2-0 in these Playoffs. We faced the same opponent again and clinched the win on April 18th (64-43) at Javi Limones. On to the Round of 16! Congratulations to Nerea Sánchez-led team! We are facing Uros de Rivas B at the Javi Limones arena on April 25th.

The Girls U14 Preferente team had another great match between first and second place, which ultimately fell short (40-34) against Santa María del Pilar A last Saturday. Congratulations to the girls, who remain in second place with a 15-3 record, tied with two other clubs. We begin the Round of 16 against Salesianos Paseo on the road on May 9th at 9:00 AM.

The Boys U14 First Year team secured a win on a tough court against Jansen Baloncesto Torrelodones (31-81) in the FBM Round of 32. We face the same opponent again, this time at the Javi Limones arena, and won (77-27) against BT on April 19th to advance to the Round of 16. Congratulations! We will play against Virgen de Atocha on the road on April 25th.

The Boys First Year Blanco team failed to capitalize on their bye week against C.D. Estudio Amarillo, away from home (54-47). This was their first defeat in this reclassification phase for positions 91-93 in the league. They will play again on May 29th at 7:30 PM at the Nuria Fernández arena against Colegio El Prado.

The Boys Preferente A team improved to 21-1 after winning (20-70) against Pureza de María A, away on April 18th. They have qualified for the Round of 16 and will face Valdefuentes Basket Futuro A away on May 9th at 12:30 PM.

The Boys Infantil B team lost at home (40-61) against C.D. Norte at the Javi Limones arena, and their next challenge will come soon.

The Boys Infantil A team continues their winning streak, and on April 19th they were no exception (64-99) against Pintobasket away. 2-0 in the phase, David Sanz Jr. team are in the lead. We will face C.B Ciudad de Móstoles at the Javi Limones stadium on April 26 at 5:45 PM.

The Women Preferente Cadet team could not overcome the second-placed team, Isaac Newton A (32-46), on April 18th at the Javi Limones gym. We travel to Corazonistas Blanco on April 25th at 4:00 PM, needing a win.

The First Year Cadet team had another good day, winning against Marianistas Amoros at their home gym (60-63). This victory against a direct rival in the standings allows us to tie the FBM record at 11-11. We will have a bye on April 18th-19th and 24th-25th.

The White Cadet team lost to C.B. Arganda on April 18th (88-39). We are at the bottom of the standings in this learning season. We are playing this April 25th at 9:00 AM at the Javi Limones gym against San Agustín Madrid A.

The Cadete B team finally had the home advantage this time against Valcude Alcobendas (64-54), securing a victory. This is our second win of the phase, although we finished at the bottom of the standings for this part of the season. We are back in action this April 25th at the Javi Limones gym, in a match to remember, against our Cadete A team at 2:15 PM. We will be in the reclassification round for positions 37-48 in Division 1.

Cadete A has reached its fifth victory of the Bronze phase, winning on the road (72-76) against C.D.I. Rozasbasket, and with the great debut of Souleymane Sey in the category. A good recovery in this part of the season, bringing our record to 5-5. We return to action this April 25th at the Javi Limones arena at 2:15 PM, in a match to remember, against our Cadete B team. We will be in the reclassification round for positions 37-48 in Division 1.

Júnior Preferente Azul could not turn this into a winning streak and ran into trouble (41-47) against Madrid FSM C.D.B B at home. We are currently tied 2-2 in this reclassification phase for positions 29-32. We play on April 26th at 10:00 AM at the Nuria Fernández arena against La Paz C.D.

Júnior Preferente has lost twice and was eliminated in the Round of 16, first on April 12th away against Ensanche de Vallecas A (72-66). We faced this same opponent again on April 19th (47-56) at the Javi Limones arena.

Junior B and its winning streak came to an end with a 99-94 defeat on the difficult court against SBA B. They now have a 1-1 record in this Bronze reclassification phase for positions 28-36. Our team will have a bye this weekend.

Junior A reached the Gold division, where they are vying for 5th-8th place, first defeating Baloncesto Fuenlabrada on the road (112-116). They will host BT A midweek at their home arena in Torrelodones on April 21st at 8:30 PM. They will then face Real Canoe on April 26th at the Javi Limones arena at 7:30 PM.

Under-22 B is in the quarterfinals with a 15-7 record after their victory in Aluche on April 12th (61-79) against Revolution, maintaining their momentum. The contributions of our players were significant, including Seyni Ndoye, who was the best on the court, and Aaron Lujano setting the pace. We will be heading to San Agustín Los Negrales on April 26th at 12:00 PM.

The U22 Gold team began the Playoffs with their Round of 16 match on April 12th against Alcorcón Basket A, winning 79-91 at their home arena. We faced Alcorcón again in the second game of the series on April 19th at the Javi Limones arena, losing 73-80. We will play the final on April 26th at 11:30 AM.

Torrejón Spartans returned to winning ways on April 12th with a 44-71 victory away against Ensanche de Vallecas C. We are currently second in the league with an 18-4 record. We have reached the FBM Round of 16, and we will be facing Spinola Chamartín on April 26th at 6:30 PM away.

And to wrap up #TheRecap, the TBS National Senior team came into the game with a win against Valcude Alcobendas (101-84) in the opening match of the VIPS Round of 16. However, we are tied 1-1 in this series, following their loss on April 18th at the Amaya Valdemoro arena (95-87), despite Carlos Abentín and his nearly 30 points and double-double on rebounds. We will be back for the third and decisive game this Saturday, April 25th at 7:30 PM at the Javi Limones arena, ready to give it our all.
