We will review everything that has happened for Torrejón Basketball Academy on the FBM basketball courts, both away games and home games at the Javi Limones and Nuria Fernández courts on February 14th and 15th, the extended and fun Carnival weekend, and a preview of the next round:



The Girls Second Year Benjamin team remains in second place in the league, easily defeating C.B. Arganda (50-0) at the Javi Limones court. They will be playing San Viator there on February 28th at 11:15 AM.

The Boys First Year Alevín team continues its climb, defeating C.B. Villa de Valdemoro (55-35). They are currently in fourth place in the standings. They will play Pintobasket Negro at the Javi Limones court on February 21st at 10:45 AM.

The U12 Girls First Year team could not secure a home win against C.B. Zona Press (29-71), being easily outplayed by our porous defense near the basket. This opponent has only suffered one defeat in the league. We are in the middle of the table with a 4-5 record, in fifth place. We will play C.F.V. Basket Valdebebas on February 28th at 10:00 AM at their home gym.

The U12 Girls Second Year Blue team, after their away game against Pilaristas on February 14th, will play at the Javi Limones gym at 2:15 PM against C.B. Getafe C on February 21st.

The U12 Girls Second Year team has already secured their ninth victory in the Gold division, after defeating Virgen de Atocha on February 14th. Their record is 9-3. We will return to the Javi Limones gym on March 8th for a great game against C.B. Tres Cantos, who are second in the standings with an 11-1 record, at 4:00 PM.

The Under-12 Second Year team is riding high in the Silver category under Marco Aldany: a 12-1 record as league leaders, following their latest victory (7-58) away against Olímpico Alcobendas. Their next challenge will be Parla Básquet 2014, away on February 21st at 2:00 PM.

The Under-14 Girls First Year team remains league leader, although their perfect 11-0 record fell. A defeat (46-37) in Madrid against San José del Parque forces them to work even harder. They will play Basket Aranjuez Blanco on February 21st at the Javi Limones arena at 2:15 PM.

The Under-14 Girls Preferential team managed to secure a win this time and are currently in third place with a 9-2 record. They have a doubleheader ahead, first away against Alameda de Osuna 2012 on February 21st at 12:30 PM. And then at home on February 22nd at 4:00 PM, against Distrito Carabanchel B at the Nuria Fernández Arena.

The U14 Boys First Year team could not secure a win (53-42) against Uros de Rivas A. Their record now stands at 5-8 for the current season. They will be at the Nuria Fernández Arena on February 21st at 9:00 AM to host C.D. Estudio Blanco.

The U14 Boys First Year Blanco team had a tough time against one of the two league leaders (65-15), losing to Baloncesto Rivas Parque Sureste B on the road. They have dropped to the bottom of the standings with a 2-8 record in the league. They will be at the Javi Limones Arena on February 21st at 2:15 PM against Colegio Mater Immaculata.

The U14 Preferente A team improved to 15-0 in the league, with their most recent victory (71-33) against Boadilla Monsters. Enjoy the highlights of this victory on our TBS social media channels. We will be playing in Alcalá de Henares on February 21st at 10:45 AM, visiting Juan de Austria A.


The Under-14 B team is currently on a losing streak, having lost 53-26 to C.D.E. Aravaca Basket. We have an away game at the Javi Limones arena on February 21st when we have the honor of hosting San Agustín Los Negrales at 12:30 PM.

The Under-14 A team leads the Bronze Division with a 6-0 record, having defeated Parla Básquet A 76-59 on the road. We will play at the Javi Limones arena on February 22nd at 7:30 PM against Distrito Olímpico B, looking to extend this winning streak.

The Women Cadet Preferente team did it again, improving their record to 11-4 after defeating Uros de Rivas C on February 14th (47-49) in a game decided in their favor in the final moments. We are currently third in the standings. Our next challenge is at home: at the Javi Limones arena on February 21st at 9:00 AM against Recuerdo S.A.D.

The First Year Cadet team, after having their postponed game against Distrito Olímpico Musas on February 15th, will face Villaviciosa de Odón Blanco on February 22nd. This will be a tough match at the Javi Limones arena at 4:00 PM, as Villaviciosa de Odón Blanco is the undefeated league leader with a 16-0 record. We are in the middle of the pack with an 8-8 record, so we are eager to take on this challenge.

Cadete Blanco had an off day at Javi Limones against Brains Arturo Soria (15-47), a mid-table team. Highlights of this game are available on our YouTube channel. We hope to climb out of last place when we play Pilaristas A on February 21st at Nuria Fernández. This game will be at 12:30 PM.


Cadete B suffered another defeat (91-65) this time against Valcude Alcobendas, who are currently the group leaders. We return to action on February 21st, playing at home at 10:45 AM at Nuria Fernández against Baloncesto Villalba B. Then, on February 22nd, we visit C.B. Pozuelo at the Francisco de Vitoria University at 4:30 PM.

Cadete A established their dominance and on February 15th they won (59-43) at home against A.D.C. Boadilla A. Their record is 3-3 in the Bronze category. We face Real Canoe B on February 21st at 6:30 PM at the Pez Volador arena.

Júnior Preferente Azul suffered another defeat (61-51), this time against Baloncesto Fuenlabrada in what is always a tough away game. We drop to fourth place with a 10-5 record. We play at the Nuria Fernández arena on February 22nd at 9:00 AM against Club Europeo Baloncesto B.

Júnior Preferente had the game of the season against Santa María del Pilar B, the league leaders, whose undefeated record we ended. Come on, lads! We are currently in second place with a 14-3 record. We play Baloncesto Villalba on February 21st at 4:30 PM.

Junior B lost at Javi Limones on February 15th against Baloncesto Aristos A (78-87) despite Aaron Lujano having a performance of 20 points and Carlos Marín having 14. On February 22nd, we will face Uros de Rivas A, away at Los Almendros at 11:30 AM.

Junior A is now 6-0 in the phase. They secured a victory (104-61) against C.B. Getafe A at Javi Limones, with Álvaro Fernández leading the offense with 24 points. Special mention goes to Seyni Ndoye, who has been improving steadily since arriving in Spain, contributing 17 points in just 18 minutes on the court. We return to action on February 22nd when we play away against Baloncesto Fuenlabrada B at 1:30 PM at El Arroyo.

The Under-22 B team has grown significantly and is on the rise, still in fifth place, but with a 9-6 record. They secured a victory on February 15th (69-88) against Baloncesto Alcobendas B. We will continue our winning streak on February 22nd when we play Villaviciosa de Odón A.B. at the Javi Limones arena at 5:45 PM.

The Under-22 Gold team extended their undefeated streak of 15 consecutive wins on February 15th against Spanish Basketball Academy in a fantastic game (95-60). A huge victory! Next weekend is the game of the year: first against second, as we face Jansen BT in Torrelodones on February 22nd at 11:30 AM, who are currently in second place with only one loss.

Torrejón Spartans won again and (what a win!) are now at 12-3, defeating Menesiano (59-62) last Sunday. A fantastic victory for Tomás Morales and his team, and you can enjoy all the highlights on our YouTube channel. We have climbed to second place in the standings. We will be visiting G.S.D. Alcalá on February 22nd at 9:45 AM.


And to finish #TheMatchRecap, the TBS National Senior team suffered a painful home defeat (77-78) against C.D. Estudio, relinquishing second place in the VIPS competition to this opponent. We have fallen to 11-6 for the season. Marcos Hermosilla was the standout player in our loss. We will be playing C.D.V. in Madrid on February 21st at 7:30 PM.
