#TheChronicle is here! The fourteenth chronicle of the 2025-2026 season, covering everything that has happened for Torrejón Basketball Academy in the FBM basketball arenas, both away games and home games at the Javi Limones and Nuria Fernández arenas on January 24th and 25th.


Let us review the highlights of the last gameday and what is coming up to finish January:

The Girls Second Year Benjamin team remains in second place in the league, and this past weekend was no exception, as they secured another victory (2-53) at the Juan Antonio Samaranch arena against Colmenar Viejo. We will have to wait until February 7th for the next match, when we face C.B. Villa de Valdemoro at the Javi Limones arena.

The Boys First Year Alevín team suffered another defeat. We have now dropped to fifth place with a 5-4 record after losing at Javi Limones this Saturday against C.B. Zona Press (60-77) in a fast-paced game. Highlights are available on our social media channels. The team will have a bye this weekend, January 31st.

The U12 Girls First Year team could not string together any wins and fell last weekend (43-82) to Pintobasket at Javi Limones. It was a tough game, as they were facing the league leaders and the only undefeated team. We will be visiting Valdefuentes Basket Futuro this February 7th at 10:45 AM in their outdoor gym.

The U12 Blue team won this time and is now 4-6 in the league. We triumphed at the Javi Limones arena, opening the day of basketball action on Saturday, January 24th, with a 74-52 victory over C.B. Las Rozas B at 9:00 AM. We will be playing away on January 31st at 4:00 PM at the Juan Antonio Samaranch arena against Astrobasket Valdemoro.

The U12 Girls Second Year team has yet to secure their seventh win in the Gold League, after falling 50-63 to Lions Basket Arroyomolinos in a match between the second and third-placed teams. We now have a 6-3 record, while our opponents have climbed to 9 wins and 1 loss. We will be playing away on January 31st at 5:00 PM at the San José del Parque court, a semi-covered arena.

The Under-12 Second Year team is unstoppable in Marco Aldany Silver category: a 10-0 league record after defeating Isaac Newton (78-27) to keep their season dreams alive. They travel on the road on January 31st at 9:30 AM to play at Distrito Olímpico Pérez.

The Under-14 Girls First Year team remains league leader after their latest victory (17-67) against Brains Arturo Soria. They also boast a 9-0 record in the competition. They will visit Santa María del Pilar at 10:00 AM on February 7th, after the game was postponed due to rain on January 24th. But before that? On January 31st, they will host Colegio Menesiano at Javi Limones at 9:00 AM.

The Under-14 Girls Preferente team finally broke their losing streak, defeating Colegio Estudiantes Las Tablas B (50-28) at Nuria Fernández. They are currently in third place with an 8-2 record. We face Colegio Los Sauces on February 7th, time to be determined.

The Boys First Year U14 team could not secure another win and now has a 4-6 record after falling to Baloncesto Alcalá A at home (53-46). We will be at home at the Javi Limones gym on January 31st to play Virgen de Atocha at 10:45 AM.

The Blanco Boys First Year U14 team achieved their second victory of the season (41-82) against Basket Aranjuez on January 24th at home. Well done, lads! We will see them again on January 31st against C.B. Perales at the Javi Limones gym at 2:15 PM.

The U14 Preferente A team improves to 12-0 in the league with their most recent victory (64-14) against C.B. Moratalaz B. We will be playing away against Colegio Estudiantes Las Tablas A at 1:15 PM on January 31st.

The Under-14 B team is currently on a losing streak, having lost 44-39 to Halcones Arroyofresno B away from home. Their next game will be on February 7th at a time to be determined, against CB Getafe C at the Javi Limones sports complex.

The Under-14 A team leads the Bronze Division with a 3-0 record, having defeated CB Coslada 75-64 at the Javi Limones sports complex last Sunday. Their next match will be against Distrito Carabanchel, on February 1st at 1:15 PM.

The Women Cadet Preferente team did it again, improving their record to 8-4 after a home win against Agustiniano (34-27). Highlights are available on YouTube Shorts and in extended format on X. The Tomás Morales-led team is now just three wins away from second place in the competition. We will visit Fuenlabrada Azul Women team on January 31st at 3:15 PM.

The First Year Cadet team improved their record to 6-7 in the league after their victory against Villanueva de la Cañada on January 24th (29-91) at their home arena. We will travel to Juan de Austria on January 31st to face them at 9:00 AM.

The White Cadet team suffered a decisive defeat (101-19) against C.B. Navalcarnero on the road. Their record now stands at 1-11. We will host Menesiano Azul at Javi Limones on January 31st at 12:30 PM.

The Cadete B team suffered another defeat (112-58) against Distrito Olímpico B at their home court in San Blas. We will face Alcorcón Basket B at Javi Limones on February 1st at 4:00 PM.

The Cadete A team lost away to C.B. Las Rozas B on January 25th (69-47) and are currently in fourth place in this phase with a 1-2 record. We will travel to Alcalá de Henares to play Juan de Austria on February 1st at 9:00 AM.

The Junior Preferente Azul team is on a roll and secured their tenth victory of the FBM season. They are now 10-2 after winning (67-48) against CDEBSMV. Their next game is on the road on January 31st against Colegio Los Sauces. This at 1:00 PM.

The Junior Preferente team returned to winning ways (40-85) on the road, defeating C.D. Tajamar A last Saturday. We are in second place with a 12-2 record. We will play Fénix Básquet Club at the Nuria Fernández arena on February 1st at 9:15 AM.

The Junior B team could not manage a win this time on January 25th against Arganzuela Centro (88-58) and now has the same record as their opponent in the phase, at 1-2. We will play Pintobasket at the Javi Limones arena on February 1st at 5:45 PM.

The Junior A team had no excuses (67-100) defeating C.B. Las Rozas A and improving their record in the phase to 3-0. We will visit Baloncesto Alcobendas on Sunday, February 1st, at the Pedro Ferrandiz arena at 1:15 PM.

The U22 B team has once again proven their mettle at the Nuria Fernández arena, defeating Revolution 80-55 and climbing to fourth place in the standings. The best photos are on our social media, thanks to JucarHoops. Our next game is on January 30th against Eurocolegio Casvi at the Nuria Fernández arena at 9:30 PM. Then, on February 1st, we travel to face San Ignacio Torrelodones at 4:30 PM.

The U22 Gold team remains undefeated and playing well, as usual. They secured their thirteenth victory (75-66) against Laso Academy, maintaining their lead in the standings. We will host C.B. Zona Press on February 1st at 7:30 PM at the Javi Limones arena.

Torrejón Spartans won again and now have a 9-3 record, defeating Corazonistas (72-53) at the Javi Limones arena. We have a long drive ahead of us this February 1st against Basket Aranjuez at 7:00 PM. Let this team continue to win!

And to finish #TheRecap, the TBS National Senior team is now 10-4 in the VIPS League, after another victory against Laso Academy (101-82) with a dominant second half at the Javi Limones arena. Another favorable rematch of the VIPS Cup Final. The night belonged to Rubén Escanciano with his 31 points and 7 three-pointers made – simply tremendous once again. We relied heavily on a remarkable effort from all the Junior players called up, with Malavé, Payas, Fernández, Abeso, Ndoye, and Chiriquez all contributing to the team success. We will have Eurocolegio Casvi as visitors on January 3rd at 9:00 PM.
