Seventh edition of #LaCronica in 2025-2026 with all the highlights from Torrejón Basketball Academy at the FBM basketball pavilions, as well as at the Javi Limones and Nuria Fernández arenas, during the action on November 8th and 9th.


Lets begin:

The Girls Second Year Benjamin team continues its winning streak at the start of the year, securing another victory (22-47) away against C.B. Villa de Valdemoro. We will have to wait until November 15th to return to the court, when we play C.B. Arganda away at 11:30 AM.

The Boys First Year Alevín team could not find their first win of the year on November 8th against Buen Consejo (62-50), the league leaders. Our next challenge will be C.B. Villa de Valdemoro on November 15th at 10:45 AM at the Javi Limones arena.

The Alevín Girls First Year team was finally able to fine-tune their game plan and system, defeating Valdefuentes Basket Futuro (41-16) at home. Highlights of the game are available on our YouTube channel. We return to action on November 15th against C.B. Zona Press at their home gym at 11:15 AM.

The U12 Blue team was unable to secure another victory, losing 58-28 at Alameda de Osuna 2014, who remain undefeated in the competition. On November 15th, we will be playing at home against Pilaristas at 9:00 AM at the Javi Limones gym.

The U12 Girls Second Year team went out looking for a win and secured their second victory in the Gold category on November 8th against C.B. Las Rozas B away from home (50-61). The José Gismero-led team is finding its rhythm. It will be a home game at Javi Limones on November 15th, when we play Virgen de Atocha at 12:30 PM.

The Under-12 Second Year team has won again, and the Javi Piñar-led team remains undefeated and tied for first place in the standings after visiting Aravaca Basket and defeating them (55-61). We face Olímpico Alcobendas on November 15th at 2:15 PM at Javi Limones.

The Under-14 Girls First Year team continues to play well and win, with another positive result (47-66) against Basket Leganés on November 8th, keeping them at the top of the standings. We face San José del Parque on November 15th at Javi Limones at 12:30 PM.

The Under-14 Girls Preferente team played and continues winning in their third league game (35-75) against Distrito Carabanchel B on the road on November 8th. We will be at the Javi Limones arena on November 15th when we play Alameda de Osuna 2012 at 10:45 AM.

The Boys First Year Under-14 team secured another victory (51-59) away against Tres Cantos B on November 8th. The Agustín Sánchez-led team is building momentum and sits atop the standings with a 3-0 record in a four-way tie for first place. We will play at the Nuria Fernández arena on November 15th at 9:00 AM against Uros de Rivas A.

The Boys First Year Under-14 Blanco team could not extend their strong start on October 25th, falling to C.B. Perales (51-36). This team will have a bye this coming weekend to regroup and continue working towards another win. We are heading to Nuria Fernández on November 15th at 2:15 PM to host Baloncesto Rivas Sureste B.

The U14 Preferente A team is 5-0 in the league, with their most recent victory this past Saturday (52-51) against Juan de Austria A in a nail-biting thriller that we captured on video. The Miggy Álvarez-led team controlled the final possession, preventing their opponents from stealing the ball and securing the win. We will be visiting H.A. Basket on November 15th at 5:45 PM at their home court in the Gallur Municipal Sports Center.

The U14 B team suffered another defeat (37-49) against Aravaca Basket C.D.E., though they showed grit and determination. We have another away game coming up on November 15th when we travel to San Agustín Los Negrales at 12:00 PM at the schools gymnasium.

The Under-14 A team continues to play well: they have now won six straight, including their recent 72-47 victory away at Distrito Carabanchel. They remain the sole leaders, undefeated. Next up is Basket Leganés 2012 A on November 16th at 11:15 AM at the Nuria Fernández arena.

The Women Cadet Preferente team continues its impressive upward trajectory, securing the expected result against Recuerdo S.A.D. (31-44) on their home court on November 8th. We now have a 4-1 record, currently trailing the undefeated Parla Básquet and Isaac Newton, and are close behind. We will play at home in the Nuria Fernández arena on November 15th at 4:00 PM against C.B. Pizarro.

The First Year Cadet team improved their league record to 3-2 after defeating Distrito Olímpico Musas (68-34) at home in front of a large crowd and a great atmosphere. With this victory against a direct rival, the team climbs to fourth place, and we look forward to returning to action on November 15th when we travel to face Villaviciosa de Odón A.B. at 7:00 PM, right after our U22 B team game.


Cadete Blanco was once again outplayed, lacking both resources and intensity on defense (75-7), in their visit to Pilaristas A last Saturday. We now have a 1-4 record in the league. Our next match will be at the Nuria Fernández arena on November 15th at 12:30 PM, where we will host Alameda de Osuna.

Cadete B tried again, but without success, at the Nuria Fernández arena on November 9th against A.D.C. Boadilla A (68-71), in a game we thought we had won. That first victory of the season remains elusive, and we hope to play well against C.D.I. Rozasbasket on November 16th at 10:00 AM.

Cadete A could not extend their winning streak, falling to Real Madrid B on November 8th (113-48) in Valdebebas. Real Madrid B are currently top of the league and undefeated. We will play at the Javi Limones arena on November 16th against Movistar Estudiantes B at 4:00 PM.

Júnior Preferente Azul suffered a setback, bringing our record to 4-2 in the FBM competition, after being defeated (59-38) at the home of Club Europeo Baloncesto B, the only undefeated team in the league so far. We will be back at the Javi Limones arena next week, on November 16th at 5:45 PM, to host C.B.F. Fuenlabrada.

Junior Preferente went to the Joaquín Blume arena with gusto (75-55) and bounced back against Baloncesto Villalba on November 9th, overcoming the defeat against Santa María del Pilar and maintaining a 6-1 record as they chase this rival in the standings. A tough game awaits on November 15th at La Caja Mágica at 8:30 PM, as we face Movistar Estudiantes A.

Junior B record falls to 1-5 after their away defeat (74-56) against San Patricio last Sunday. We will be looking to bounce back on November 16th when we play Baloncesto Aristos A at 1:00 PM at the Nuria Fernández arena.

Junior A continues their winning streak, convincingly defeating C.B. Las Rozas B (112-53) on November 9th at the Javi Limones arena. We are in second place with a 5-1 record, and we are looking to get our revenge against San Jorge, who beat us before. We will play in Madrid on November 16th at 6:15 PM.

The U22 B team earned a win on November 9th at Javi Limones (76-70) against Fundal Alcobendas B. It was the first victory of the season for the Nacho Gallego-led team. We will face Villaviciosa de Odontología A.B. on November 16th at 5:00 PM at their home court, the Chema Martínez.

The U22 Gold team boasts a perfect 5-0 record after narrowly defeating Spanish Basketball Academy A on the final play at home (89-91) in what was undoubtedly the game of the year. A jumper off the backboard, wham, and it went in. Smiles and great feelings upon returning home. The Gregorio Recio-led team relied on 24 points from Álvaro Fernández and 20 from Robert Román for this resounding victory. There is no rest for the day, as there is a clash of undefeated teams this Sunday, November 16th, when we face BT at the Javi Limones arena at 7:45 PM, aiming for supremacy and the top spot in the standings.

Torrejón Spartans bounced back on November 9th at the Javi Limones arena, defeating Menesiano (79-73), a direct rival for the top spots in the competition. Early this morning, November 16th, the next challenge awaits, when we host G.S.D. Alcalá at the Nuria Fernández arena at 9:30 AM.

And to wrap up #TheRecap, the TBS National Senior team came out firing on all cylinders, playing the VIPS Game against the undefeated league leaders, C.D. Estudio, on their home court and defeating them (78-92). Photos and video are available on our social media channels. Javier Sánchez was named MVP of the VIPS Game with his double-double, although he left the game in the second half with a sprained ankle. We are now 4-2 in the VIPS League, sitting third in the standings. We are playing at the Javi Limones arena this November 15th at 7:30 PM against Centro Deportivo Vallecas.
