The Review:

This is the fifth edition of #LaCronica with the reviews, results, and schedule for the Torrejón Basketball Academy. Below is a look at what happened at the FBM basketball arenas, as well as at the Javi Limones and Nuria Fernández Arenas during the action on October 18 and 19:

The Second-Year Girls Benjamín team took to the court for the first time in the Marco Aldany League in a Group 5 match against Colmenar Viejo. They unleashed a 50-0 offensive drive at the Javi Limones Arena against girls who are just starting out in the exciting game of basketball. The girls will play away on October 25 at 9:30 a.m. at the Jesús España Arena against C.B. Villa de Valdemoro.

The Blanco Boys Alevín First-Year team fell by a narrow margin in Group 5 Marco Aldany League action against C.B Zona Press (49-47) at their arena, feeling like this was a wrap. We need to shake this off after October 25th because we will have a weekend off.

The Girls Alevín First-Year team debuted on October 18th in the Marco Aldany League in Group 11 action against Pintobasket at their arena (66-28) and were no match, with a defensive performance that lacked physical and tactical rigor. The girls will take to the court on October 25th when we host Valdefuentes Basket Futuro at 12:30 p.m. at Javi Limones Stadium.

The Blue U12 Second-Year team took to the court in the Silver category on October 18 against CB Las Rozas B at the Mario Vargas Llosa Primary School, winning 47-51, knowing how to push hard in the closing stages of the game. We will play Astrobasket Valdemoro on October 25 at Javi Limones Stadium, at 9:00 AM.

The Second-Year Girls U12 team took to the court in the Gold category, corresponding to the Marco Aldany League, in Group 3 action, against Lions Basket Arroyomolinos at their home arena (61-49). Although they did not reach the competitive level, this is the desired level for the José Gismero-led team. They will return to the court on October 25 at 12:30 PM at Javi Limones Stadium, against San José del Parque.

The Second-Year Alevin U12 debuted in the Silver category, playing on October 18 at the home of Isaac Newton (16-66), with an optimal offensive performance. The youth team will play their second matchday on October 25th at Javi Limones Stadium at 2:15 PM against Distrito Olímpico Pérez.

The U14 Girls First Year team played their league debut on October 18th against Santa María del Pilar, with a comfortable (56-5) win at home. We will travel to Madrid on October 25th to face Colegio Menesiano at 5:45 PM.

The U14 Girls Preferente team played on October 18th as visitors against Colegio Estudiantes Las Tablas B (25-37), winning their league debut. We hope to repeat the feat when we play Colegio Los Sauces at Javi Limones Stadium on October 25th at 10:45 AM.

U14 Boys First Year team took to the court on October 18th at Javi Limones Stadium against Baloncesto Alcalá A and held off their opponent onslaught (66-62) to take this game home. We will play Virgen de Atocha at their arena on October 25th at 9:30 AM.

The U14 Boys First Year Blanco team successfully faced Basket Aranjuez Amarillo (74-35) last Saturday. Video highlights of the match are on our X account. The team will play the second matchday on October 25th at 1:00 PM at the home of C.B. Perales.

The U14 Preferente A team is 3-0 in the league, with their most recent victory this Saturday (67-16) against C.B. Ciudad de Móstoles B. We will play Boadilla Monsters on October 25th at 9:30 AM.

U14 B team earned a home win in their first match of the year, against Halcones Arroyofresno B (36-46). We will be in Getafe on October 25th at 7:30 PM for the match against CB Getafe C.

The U14 A team continues to win, making it four straight wins, with CB Pozuelo (57-65) losing at their home arena in El Torreón. We will be in Getafe on October 25th at 2:15 PM at the Javi Limones stadium against Juan de Austria B.

Cadete Preferente Femenino could not string together a winning streak, going on the road against Villanueva de la Cañada (48-41) and running out of gas in the final minutes. The next match will be against Uros de Rivas C, at 10:45 a.m. at Javi Limones on October 25th.

Cadete Primer Año lost for the first time this year at home (54-81) to C.B Juan de Austria, to set a 2-1 record in the league. Video highlights are available on our social channels. The division will return to action on October 25th when we play at 1:00 p.m. at the home of Piratas Soto Basket.

Cadete Blanco had no respite this past October 18th at home against Baloncesto Villalba (17-126), being soundly defeated by the favorite to win the group. We hope to have better luck this October 25th when we visit Brains Arturo Soria at 1:00 PM.

The Cadet B team had a bad start visiting CB Juan de Austria on October 19th (94-38) and losing by a significant margin. We will host CB Pozuelo on October 26th at Javi Limones at 7:30 PM.

The Cadet A team has done it, winning long-awaited at home against Baloncesto Fuenlabrada B (73-67). It is our first win of the year. The away team will play on October 26th at 6:30 PM against Virgen de Atocha A.

The Junior Preferente Azul team was able to continue this good run on October 19th, away against Distrito Carabanchel C (53-67), winning in a row. Congratulations to the team. We will be back on the court this coming weekend, when we play Baloncesto Fuenlabrada on October 26th at Javi Limones Stadium. This will be at 7:30 PM.

Júnior Preferente came in undefeated to host Buen Consejo at Javi Limones Stadium (71-70), and we managed to close the scoreboard by the narrowest of margins. Victory! 5-0 record. We hope to continue this momentum when we play Santa María del Pilar B on October 25th at 10:45 AM in Madrid.

Júnior B could not find the way to string together victories at Javi Limones Stadium, conceding and losing (57-102) to Movistar Estudiantes B. We will travel to Pinto on the next matchday to face Pintobasket at 9:00 AM on October 26th.

Junior A, without taking their foot off the gas, showed a hard-working performance (42-142) against C.B Ciudad de Móstoles A, in Los Rosales by a 100-point margin. Luis Payas, the best player, surpassed 30 points in a great collective effort. At the Javi Limones stadium on October 26, they will play against Baloncesto Fuenlabrada B at 4:00 PM.

U-22 B entered the scene in Plata on October 19, at the Nuria Fernández stadium against San Ignacio Torrelodones (63-66), with a narrow defeat. Later, during the week on October 22, we will face Eurocolegio Casvi at 8:30 PM. Then, on October 26, we will play away at Madrid Élite Basketball at 6:30 PM.

U-22 Gold had a double-header weekend, with two wins to their name. First, on October 17, at Javi Limones Stadium, at 9:00 PM, against Colegio Europeo A (99-46). And on October 19, against C.B Zona Press at their home arena, also with a winning record (58-97), they move into the lead with a 3-0 record. We will host Colegio Alameda de Osuna at Javi Limones Stadium on October 26 at 5:45 PM.

Torrejón Spartans suffered a setback this time against Basket Aranjuez (58-64) at Javi Limones Stadium. Dental Company Ciempobasket will be their next opponent on October 26 at 12:00 PM at their home arena.

And to round out #LaCrónica, the TBS Senior National team managed to get back on track by hosting Eurocolegio Casvi (109-75), with great individual scoring performances from both Rubén Escanciano and Javier Sánchez. Highlighting the youngsters Osvaldo Deocares, Álvaro Fernández, and Sebastián Malavé for their participation and scoring opportunities. C.B Las Rozas will be the next challenge on October 25th at 7:30 PM. This will be at home, at the Javi Limones stadium.
