Yes Yes Yes! Now is the time for #LaCronica with the summary of our categories this weekend, and it must be said: full of victories. Congratulations to our categories that are closing the season and competing in the Playoffs as well.

The second-year Benjamin in the Marco Aldany League won (34-31) against their peers from Pureza de María. With this vital win, we leveled our record to 2-2 at this stage of the season.

The Alevín Blanco in a vibrant match defeated (66-68) visiting the Catalunya Torrejón Park and we scored the group with a 3-0 mark. We recovered 19 points on the basis of work, a great last quarter with a 12-24 that was defining for our team in the derby.

For Alevín B there were also smiles, since this is the first positive record of this phase of the year (33-38) has been added this weekend and visiting the Villa de Aranjuez pavilion also, the second in the table. We go up to 1-2 in pursuit of that team.

Our Preferred Infant has had a rest day. They will return to action on June 12 against GSD Alcalá.

The Infantil A almost sounded the bell (58-61) against Movistar Estudiantes B. Extraordinary match that of our infantile boys who were able to compete face to face against an ACB quarry team. After a spectacular start, 16-12 in the first period, the visiting team tightened all their lines and was able to take advantage of up to 24 points. However, our kids, with 8 first-year players, never gave the game for lost and superior to give that plus that characterizes them, and reach the last minute of the game with a draw at 58. In the end, the small details gave them the victory to the Movistar Estudiantes team, who had to work hard and very well. Great effort and work of ours.

Female Cadet did not play this weekend.

For the FBM Federated Quarterfinals, Halcones Arroyofresno B fell (73-85) against Cadet TBS Amarillo. First game of the series where we played with nerves, but thanks to the display of Salif, our academy player and the direction of the Lukas, another highlighted academy player, we achieved the first win. Then, the Yellow Cadet (70-65) sentenced Halcones de Arroyofresno B. A hard-won victory in the lap where once again Salif and Lukas, plus Adrián Cerezo got the victory and the pass to the semifinals with derby included.

ACROLA-Aravaca Basket could not (62-83) against our Preferred Cadet of players 2006. It was a hard-fought victory with nerves, being the first game of the series. Great choral work where we did not get off the ground until the last quarter achieving the final +21. The following day, the 2006 Cadet repeated the dose (70-19) forcefully vs ACROLA-Aravaca Basket. Huge defense of ours where the rebound and great offensive transitions were the key to victory.

Well done for the Cadet Azul, easily defeating (53-96) visiting La Torre de Hortaleza and the next day, same recipe already rested, (55-42) at Javi Limones. The Semifinals duel against the Yellow Cadet will be simply spectacular for our categories, starting this June 12th.

Cadet B took the lead in his series against Baloncesto Leganés (70-39) and awaits the away game this coming weekend, to culminate with this rival if everything flows positively again.

Cadet A (87-74) beat the Olympic District well, after a week off we returned to compete and won. A bad second quarter allowed them to get into the game, the rest of the rooms we dominated with our attack rhythm.

Junior B and Junior Preferred rest this weekend. In the same way, Junior A also after beating Tres Cantos in his series for a place within the Top-10 Junior of Madrid in Gold.

The U-22 has put us with a thousand emotions, defeating Basketball Leganés in the first of the FBM Quarterfinal series and at home (71-76), with the return this coming June 13 at Javi Limones.

Ladies and gentlemen, we won in all but one of our Torrejón Basketball Academy categories this past weekend. Wonderful day that once again demonstrates the training and competitive nature of our philosophy. We continue on!
