We fell in the VIPS Game of the Week
Issue number nine of #LaCronica in 2025-2026 with everything that has happened for Torrejón Basketball Academy in the FBM basketball pavilions, both on our home courts, Javi Limones and Nuria Fernández, during the action on November 22nd and 23rd, and away games throughout the region.

The Girls Second Year Benjamin team continues its winning streak at the start of the year and has won again (51-0) against San Viator. We are undefeated at the top of the standings, sharing a record with Movistar Estudiantes. We will face this opponent actually on December 13th at Magariños, at a time to be determined.
The Boys First Year Alevín team has done it again, and in style: we triumphed once more against a top-of-the-table opponent (59-68), Pintobasket Negro. We move up to a 2-2 record, placing us fifth in the standings. We will play at the Javi Limones arena on November 29th at 10:45 against Alcorcón Basket B.
The U12 Girls First Year team regained their momentum at the Javi Limones arena on November 22nd, defeating CFV Basket Valdebebas 70-20. We now have a 2-2 record. We must wait until December 13th for our next challenge, when we play against Parla Básquet 2015 on their home court.
The U12 Blue team had a bye this past weekend after their match against C.B. Getafe C, which has been postponed to February 21st, 2026. This November 29th at the Javi Limones arena, we will face C.D. Estudio Azul at 12:30.
The U12 Girls Second Year team was unable to secure their fourth victory in the Gold League (81-56), falling to Tres Cantos on November 22nd, who remain undefeated. We are currently third in the standings with a 3-2 record. We will see them again at the Javi Limones arena on November 29th at 2:15 PM, when we host Patrocinio San José.
The Under-12 Second Year team has won again and remains undefeated, defeating Parla Básquet 2014 91-54 on November 22nd. We are heading to San Agustín del Guadalix to play against this club at 11:00 AM.
The Under-14 Girls First Year team continues to lead the league after their latest victory at the Nuria Fernández arena (25-58) against Basket Aranjuez Blanco, our closest rival in the standings, whose undefeated record we have now ended. We will be waiting for Baloncesto Villalba at the Nuria Fernández arena on November 29th at 9:00 AM.
The Under-14 Girls Preferente team narrowly missed out on the dub (51-50) in their away game against Baloncesto San Fernando. It was a clash of undefeated leaders, and on the court, we saw them go toe-to-toe as such. We will be facing Liceo Francés on November 29th at 9:00 AM at the Javi Limones arena.
The U14 Boys First Year team lost again and are in a slump (77-70) after falling to C.D. Estudio Blanco. They now have a 3-2 record in the league. We will be at the Nuria Fernández arena at 10:45 AM on November 29th to host Pintobasket Naranja.
The U14 Boys First Year Blanco team had the game within reach on the road in Madrid (35-33) but could not close out the game against Colegio Mater Immaculata. This is their third loss of the year. We will be facing Movistar Estudiantes on November 29th at 2:15 PM at the Nuria Fernández arena.
The Under-14 A team is 7-0 in the league, with their most recent victory coming on November 22nd at Javi Limones against Movistar Estudiantes (58-37). They play away on November 29th at 9:00 AM against La Paz C.D.
The Under-14 B team learned from their past mistakes and fought hard in the final game (46-45) to defeat Valcude Alcobendas B at Nuria Fernández. We are thrilled because it is our first win of the year! We hope to continue this winning streak when we play away against Distrito Carabanchel on November 29th at 8:00 PM.
The Under-14 A team surprisingly lost their undefeated record at El Plantío on November 23rd against C.B. Coslada (76-75) in the final moments of the game. We remain in first place, although now at 7-1 and tied with C.B. Pozuelo. The game of the season is coming up on November 30th, against them, at the Javi Limones stadium at 5:45 PM.
The Women Cadet Preferente team continues its winning streak, defeating C.D.V. 27-41 while away. We are tied for second place with a 6-1 record. We will play Parla Básquet at the Javi Limones arena on November 29th at 2:15 PM.
The First Year Cadet team record stands at 3-4 in the league after being defeated 42-85 at home by Isaac Newton B. Isaac Newton B leads the league with a 7-0 record. Their next challenge? C.B. Pozuelo Amarillo on November 30th at 10:30 AM away.
The White Cadet team was defeated again (77-20) in their visit to Distrito Olímpico last Saturday. Their next challenge is Movistar Estudiantes on November 29th at 12:30 PM at the Nuria Fernández arena.
The Cadete B team has persevered relentlessly and secured a resounding victory (60-69) against Baloncesto Villalba. Their first win of the year – congratulations! And against the league leaders, no less. They will face Juan de Austria at the Nuria Fernández arena on November 30th at 9:00 AM.
The Cadete A team was unable to secure a win this time (47-71) against C.B. Getafe A, and they currently sit fourth in this group stage as they prepare for the 2025-2026 season. They travel to the El Arroyo Pavilion on November 30th to take on Baloncesto Fuenlabrada B at 6:00 PM.
The Junior Preferente Azul team is on a roll and has now added their sixth victory of the FBM season. We won at Amaya Valdemoro on November 23rd (53-70) against Valcude Alcobendas B. We will be at Nuria Fernández on November 30th at 12:30 to face Repick Sanse.
The Junior Preferente team is keeping pace, winning again (56-50) against Agustiniano at home. We are still aiming high, with an 8-1 record. We will be playing C.B. Las Rozas D on their home court on November 29th at 5:30 PM.
The Junior B team record has fallen to 1-7 after a loss (75-61) against Distrito Carabanchel at home. We will be traveling to Magariños on November 30th to face Movistar Estudiantes B at 8:30 PM.
Junior A continues its winning streak, defeating A.D.C. Boadilla A 120-65 at the Javi Limones arena. With a 7-1 record, they maintain their promotion hopes and remain the top team in the group stage. They will continue their winning ways at the Javi Limones arena on November 30th at 4:00 PM against C.D. Ciudad de Móstoles.
Under-22 B secured their third league victory, putting the group firmly on track for promotion. They triumphed over C.D. Tajamar 82-52, bringing their season record to 3-3. They will travel to the Carlos Sastre Pavilion on November 30th to face Basket Leganés B at 4:00 PM.
Under-22 Gold sets the standard as the only undefeated team in the group after their away win on November 22nd against Pintobasket 63-76 at the Príncipe de Asturias Pavilion. We are looking ahead to the weekend of November 30th, when we will play Arganzuela Centro at 7:30 PM at the Javi Limones arena.
Torrejón Spartans continue their impressive rise, securing another consecutive victory (80-84) against San Viator on November 23rd, climbing to fifth place in the FBM standings with a 4-2 record. We will be at the Nuria Fernández arena on November 30th, when we face C.D. Estudio at 10:45 AM in what promises to be a great match.
And to wrap up #TheRecap, the TBS Senior National team is now 5-3 in the VIPS League after another tough game (83-65), falling as visitors to Uros de Rivas on November 23rd. This was despite another MVP-caliber performance from Marcos Hermosilla, who scored a whopping 31 points. We hope to get our revenge on November 29th at the Javi Limones arena against C.D. Tajamar. This will be at 7:30 p.m.
