We continue our journey in the FBM Playoffs. Our TBS categories are finishing their respective seasons, and in #LaCronica we will give you a recap of Torrejón Basketball Academy games on the FBM basketball courts, both away games on May 9th and 10th, and home games at the Javi Limones and Nuria Fernández courts. We will cover the matchups and the next round of games on May 16th and 17th, and continue after the holiday:

The Girls Second Year Benjamin team is currently in the reclassification round for positions 17-32. On May 9th, they returned to winning ways with a victory away against GSD Baloncesto Alcalá (19-37). We will see them back on the court on May 23rd at 9:00 AM at the Javi Limones court against Villaviciosa de Odón A.B.

The Boys Under-12 First Year White team played well and got off to a good start against Marianistas Amoros on May 9th at Javi Limones (66-15), winning comfortably. They will play away against C.D. El Valle in Sanchinarro on May 23rd at 9:00 AM.

The Girls Under-12 First Year team lost to Colmenar Viejo on May 9th at Javi Limones (45-59). Their next match is scheduled for May 10th at Javi Limones against Patrocinio San José. They hope to bounce back on May 23rd at 11:00 AM against Colegio Los Sauces in La Moraleja.

The Under-12 Second Year Blue team had a disappointing day against Arganzuela Centro (61-46) on April 25th at home. We will see each other again after our rest day on May 10th, against Pintobasket Negro, specifically on May 23rd at the Príncipe de Asturias arena at 4:00 PM.

The U12 Girls Second Year team has returned to winning ways, securing a victory on May 9th against Virgen de Atocha (49-44) in the 17th-32nd place reclassification tournament. Well done to the José Gismero-led team! We are 1-0 in this phase. Now we await our next game on May 23rd, when we will face C.B. Zona Press at the Javi Limones arena at 10:45 AM.

The U12 Girls Second Year team is currently in the 17th-32nd place reclassification tournament and was unable to secure a win on May 9th against Pintobasket Naranja at the Javi Limones arena (67-107). We are currently 0-1 in this phase. We will see them again on May 23rd, when we travel to Los Rosales at 6:30 PM to face C.B. Ciudad de Móstoles.

The Girls U14 First Year team is now in the FBM Quarterfinals, and last Saturday they faced Uros de Rivas B (57-53) at home. We will be giving it our all in their next game this Thursday against Corazonistas Blanco at 7:00 PM at the Javi Limones gym. Come on and go, girls!

The Girls U14 Preferente team started their FBM Round of 16 campaign against Salesianos Paseo on May 9th (50-37), but they were unlucky in the score. We will have the return leg, with home-court advantage, on May 16th at 4:00 PM at the Sonia Abejón gym against Salesianos Paseo.

The Boys U14 First Year team added another win in these Round of 16 game. Congratulations! Victory (57-62) against Virgen de Atocha away from home on April 25th. We secured this tie and reached the Quarterfinals at Javi Limones when we repeated the feat against Virgen de Atocha on May 9th (62-57). On to the Quarterfinals! Hooray! We await C.B. Ciudad de Móstoles on May 15th at 9:00 PM, who will visit Javi Limones.

The Infantil Boys First Year Blanco team had a bye this weekend, May 9th-10th. This coming May 23rd, we face Estudio Amarillo at Javi Limones at 12:45 PM. We will play Colegio El Prado on May 29th at 7:30 PM at Nuria Fernández.

The Under-14 A team began their playoff journey in the Round of 16, and on May 9th we played against Valdefuentes Basket Futuro A away (29-67) and won! What a year for the Miggy Álvarez-led team on the court! We will be back this coming Sunday, May 17th at 4:00 PM at the Javi Limones arena, hoping to secure our passage to the next round.

The Under-14 B team could not manage a win at home (40-61) against C.D. Norte at the Javi Limones arena, and their next challenge is on May 16th at 4:00 PM at the Sonia Abejón arena against Baloncesto Paracuellos Blanco. Then, on May 17th, they travel to Fénix Basket Club Boadilla for an away game at a time to be determined.

The Under-14 A team played and won against Fundal Alcobendas B on May 10th at the Javi Limones arena (107-70), with another impressive performance from David Sanz Jr. team. We are currently 3-1 in this phase, competing for positions 16-27 in the FBM Silver League. We will play against Pintobasket at the Javi Limones arena on May 17th at 7:30 PM.

The Women Preferente Cadet team played at home this Saturday at the Nuria Fernández arena and let a lead they had held for the entire game slip away in the final minute (38-41) against Ensanche Vallecas A. Highlights of the offensive performance are available on our YouTube channel. We play away against Patrocinio San José on May 16th at 1:30 PM.

The First Year Cadet team returned to action on May 9th, fighting hard on the road against Colegio Joyfe (44-63) and emerging victorious. We are currently 2-0 in this phase of the competition, vying for positions 39-41.

The White Cadet team lost at home (32-50) against C.B. Arroyomolinos. Highlights of the Nacho Gallego-led team are now available on our social media channels. We play away against Recuerdo S.A.D. on May 16th at 6:45 PM in an open-air pavilion.

The Cadete B team got their foot on the gas in the reclassification round for positions 37-48 in Division 1. On May 10th, at the Carlos Sastre Pavilion, they secured a vital victory against Baloncesto Leganés 2010 A (51-88). This was their first win of the phase, in which they are joined by the Cadete A team. They will play Baloncesto San Jorge 2011 on May 16th at the Nuria Fernández Pavilion at 9:00 AM.

The Cadete A team also achieved victory in the reclassification round for positions 37-48 in Division 1 on May 10th at the Antonio Díaz Miguel Pavilion against Baloncesto San Jorge 2011 (50-99). They are now 2-0 in this phase. They will face Baloncesto Leganés 2010 A again at 5:45 PM at the Javi Limones Pavilion this Sunday, May 17th.

Junior Preferente Azul has a 2-3 record in this phase, competing for positions 29-32. Their scheduled away game on May 9th at 5:00 PM against Madrid FSM C.D.B B was postponed to June 1st.

Junior Preferente has lost twice, first in the Round of 16 on April 12th against Ensanche de Vallecas A (72-66). They faced the same opponent again on April 19th (47-56) at the Javi Limones arena.

Junior B had a bye this past weekend, April 26th.

Junior A reached the playoffs for 5th-8th place in the Gold Division, first defeating Baloncesto Fuenlabrada away (112-116) and then BT A at home in Torrelodones on April 21st. Last weekend, we cruised to a 103-77 victory over Real Canoe this past Sunday at the Javi Limones arena, winning every game. We are now fifth in Madrid in the Gold division! What a fantastic season for the Colo Zuttion team, who gave the impression of being a Final Four contender.

The U22 B team continues its winning streak in this playoff phase, vying for 29th-32nd place in the league. On May 10th, we beat C.D. Estudio at home (73-68), bringing Nacho Gallego-led team to a 2-2 record. We are heading to Sonia Abejón on May 17th at 4:00 PM to face San Agustín Los Negrales A.

The U22 Gold team won their playoff quarterfinal. Congratulations to the Gregorio Recio team, who are hoping to emulate last season silver medal in the Gold division and take home the Madrid title. You can do this! Victory (71-78) against C.B. Getafe A at their home arena, Juan de la Cierva, on May 10th. We will see you in the return leg at Javi Limones this coming weekend, May 16th, at 3:15 PM.

Torrejón Spartans fell in the first leg of the FBM Round of 16 (82-74) against Spinola Chamartín on April 26th. The series returned to Javi Limones on May 10th, and Tomás Morales-led team was more than ready for the comeback (72-63). We won! We secured the point differential with a two-point play plus a foul in the final twenty seconds to advance to the Quarterfinals of the FBM Second Regional Division. We will face Patrocinio San José on May 17th at 4:00 PM at Antonio Díaz Miguel.

And to finish #TheChronicle, the TBS National Senior team reached three games in their VIPS Round of 16 tie but could not pull it off (67-75) against Valcude Alcobendas, despite another great game from Carlos Abentín. Playing in a fantastic atmosphere with the home crowd cheering them on, it was a tough match, and the injuries that have plagued us this part of the season, including Roberto Donaire, Javier Sánchez, Jorge Herráiz, and others, have taken their toll. Applause for the team, who started the year by winning the VIPS Cup, for battling all year long. Time to recharge and come back for the same goal: the title and promotion to the FEB Third Division in 2026-2027.
