The U12 Girls First Year team could not string together any wins and fell last weekend (43-82) to Pintobasket at the Javi Limones gym. The Boys U14 First Year Blanco team was unable to extend their winning streak to a third victory of the season (59-62) as they fell to C.B. Perales at home on January 31st. Despite this, it was a great performance from our team against a higher-ranked opponent. The next matchday, February 7-8, will see this category take a break.

Junior B has leveled the playing field in the playoffs, achieving a 2-2 record after their latest victory on February 1st (76-52) against the tough Pintobasket team. Congratulations to the team led by Javier Piñar. The next challenge is Valcude Alcobendas away on February 8th at 6:00 PM.
Junior A has improved its record in the phase to 4-0. Their last victory was against Baloncesto Alcobendas (71-92) on Sunday, February 1st, at the Pedro Ferrandiz arena. And to finish #TheRecap, the TBS Senior National team is now 10-5 in the VIPS League, after losing midweek on January 3rd to Eurocolegio Casvi on the road (82-76). A disastrous first three quarters, plagued by defensive lapses and a lack of shooting touch (we only made 4-28 from three-point range), buried the hopes of a VIPS victory. A 21-10 first quarter in favor of the home team proved decisive, despite our team erasing the deficit with 28 points in the final 10 minutes to close the gap against Eurocolegio Casvi. A disappointing result for the team coached by Jeremías Zuttion. We are in second place in the standings with a 10-5 record, just two games out of first in this 2025-2026 VIPS season. With the significant absences of Roberto Donaire, Jorge Herráiz, and Claudio Gómez, as well as Javier Sánchez due to injuries and other factors, Carlos Abentín has consistently led the offense, scoring 16 points. He was followed by Rubén Escanciano with 14 and Marcos Hermosilla with 13. It was a night of debuts, with Pieter De Antonio making his senior debut and scoring his first basket of the competition, a three-pointer. Congratulations to him! We will be visiting C.B. Las Rozas on February 7th at 7:30 PM at the Alfredo Espiniella Pavilion, so, we have to turn this around, team!
