U-18 B and the U-22 B take flight
Hello everyone! Here we are with the eleventh edition of #LaCronica in 2025-2026, covering everything that has happened for Torrejón Basketball Academy at the FBM basketball arenas, both away games on the date and on our home courts, Javi Limones and Nuria Fernández, during the action on December 13th and 14th.

The Girls Second Year Benjamin team had the game of the year, a clash of undefeated teams against Movistar Estudiantes. At Magariños (18-15), we had it within our grasp, but it slipped away at the end. Congratulations to the girls for their great effort. We are now in second place. This January 10th, at a time to be determined, we will face Santa María del Pilar at Javi Limones.
The Boys First Year White team has done it again, securing several consecutive victories: this time against Arroyomolinos C.B. (64-84) on the road. This brings their record to 4-2, and they have now overtaken this opponent in the standings, tied for second place. On January 10th, at a time to be determined, they will face Fuentelarreyna at the Javi Limones arena.
The Girls First Year team now has a 2-3 record. It was a tough away game (43-30) against Parla Básquet 2015 on their home court. They are a direct rival in the middle of the standings. On January 10th, at a time to be determined, they will face Madrid FSM C.D.B. at their home arena.
The Boys Second Year Blue team could not secure a win at home (53-88) against one of the competition favorites, C.B. Pizarro Campus Ávila. This January 10th, at a time to be determined, we face Baloncesto Villalba at their home court, Enrique Blas.
The U12 Girls Second Year team has already secured their fifth victory in the Gold division (50-56), defeating C.B. Getafe on their home court this past December 13th. This January 10th, at a time to be determined, we face Ensanche de Vallecas A at the Javi Limones arena.
The U12 Girls Second Year team is unstoppable. They boast a 7-0 record in the league. This past December 13th, at the Javi Limones arena, they secured a resounding victory against Basket Aranjuez Negro (54-4). We have been promoted to the Silver division, and this January 10th at 1:00 PM, we face C.B. Villa de Leganés away.
The U14 Girls First Year team remains at the top of the league after their latest victory, away against Distrito Carabanchel (27-32). The girls are undefeated with a 7-0 record. A very valuable victory, because this rival is the one right behind us in the league, and we took away their own unbeaten record. This January 10th, at a time to be determined, we face Corazonistas Rojo at Javi Limones.
The Girls U14 Preferente team continues its winning streak, returning to victory against Femenino Fuenlabrada Blanco on December 13th (11-50). A great performance by the team coached by Álvaro Pacheco. We remain tied for first place with a 6-1 record. This January 10th, at a time to be determined, we face Aravaca C.D.E. away.
The Boys U14 First Year team lost again, this time visiting the undefeated league leaders, C.B. Ciudad de Móstoles (70-44). We are tied for fifth place in the standings with a 3-4 record. This January 10th, at a time to be determined, we face Fundal Alcobendas D. at Javi Limones.
The Boys First Year Blanco team lost on December 13th (66-16) away to C.B. Isaac Newton, one of the undefeated leaders in the group stage. In their next game, on January 10th, 2026, they will face Alcorcón Basket at the Javi Limones arena; the time is yet to be determined.
The Boys Preferente A team improved to 9-0 in the league with their most recent victory against Revolution (57-21) at home. They are the only undefeated team in the competition. On January 10th, at a time to be determined, they will face Arganzuela Centro Blanco away.
The Boys B team saw their winning streak come to an end when they lost (47-78) at the Javi Limones arena to the undefeated league leaders, Baloncesto Aristos C. On January 10th, at a time to be determined, they will face Colegio Claret Madrid. The game will be played at the Javi Limones arena.
The Under-14 A team did their job and added another win (54-68) away at C.B. Juan de Austria, bringing their league record to 8-2, just behind C.B. Pozuelo and their 9-1. This is important because this opponent is currently third in the competition, so the top two teams are now well-positioned to finish the first half of the season and into 2025.
The Women Preferente Cadet team could not pull it off this time, dropping to a 6-3 record. We lost to Majadahonda (54-32) on their home court. An unexpected setback against a rival that was seventh in the league and had a losing record. On January 10th, at a time to be determined, we will face Isaac Newton away to kick off 2026.
The First Year Cadet team record stands at 3-5 in the league after last weekend postponed match (0-0). This midweek on December 16th, they have an away game against Arganzuela Centro, a rival that is two wins ahead in the standings.
The White Cadet team was defeated again (109-34) away to C.B. Getafe on December 13th. On January 10th, at a time to be determined, we will face C.B. Arganda at the Javi Limones arena.
Cadet B suffered another defeat (69-57) against C.B. Pozuelo on their home court.
Cadet A had it in the bag until the very last second (64-65) against Virgen de Atocha A at home. They let it slip away, and both teams finish the first phase with a 2-8 record.
Junior Preferente Blue is on a roll and secured their eighth victory of the FBM season after winning a crucial away game (38-42) against San Blas Basket. We are now tied with them at 8-2 for second place in the standings. The team will have a bye on January 10-11.
Junior Preferente continues its winning streak, defeating Basket Aranjuez B (63-41) at home. We remain ambitious, with a 10-1 record. On January 11, at a time to be determined, we face Liceo Francés at the Javi Limones arena.
Junior B pulled off a remarkable comeback victory against Pintobasket (76-72), battling back from behind after a disastrous 2-17 start in the first quarter. The Javier Piñar-led team tightened things up, and a second-half surge, along with some key three-pointers, proved decisive. It was a good end to this first phase, despite winning late in the game, leaving them with a 2-8 record.
Junior A finished first in their group with a 9-1 record, following their recent victory against Baloncesto Fuenlabrada B at the El Arroyo Pavilion (71-108), once again surpassing the 100-point mark.
Under-22 B secured their fifth league win, and as we have already mentioned, this group is clearly on the rise. Victorious against Pozuelo C.D.E. (90-48), The Nacho Gallego.led team is firing on all cylinders, boasting a 5-3 record. We highlight Aaron Lujano debut run with TBS, the Venezuelan scoring 22 points. After a 0-3 start, we have now climbed to fourth place in the standings. There is still one game left in 2025, on December 21st against Valcude Alcobendas at 8:10 PM in their home arena at Distrito Centro.
The U22 Gold team remains undefeated and unstoppable, adding another win (58-89) against Colegio Joyfe in their home arena in Madrid. This brings our record to 9-0 in the FBM season. The same goes for the B team; they still have one game remaining, on December 21st at 7:30 PM at the Javi Limones arena against C.B. Moratalaz.
Torrejón Spartans are showing no signs of slowing down. They have won again this week, this time against C.B. Pizarro Campus Ávila (52-77), continuing their upward trajectory. The team is tied for second place with a 6-2 record. We will be in action against Valcude Alcobendas on December 21st at 9:00 AM at the Javi Limones arena.
And to wrap up #TheRecap, the TBS National Senior team is now 6-4 in the VIPS League after losing their last game when Carlos Abentín shot the ball and missed it (77-75) against Saltium Alcorcón Basket. It was a close game that could have gone either way. Marcos Hermosilla was the top scorer with 14 points. We will be looking to finish the year on a high note when we host San Viator on December 20th at 7:30 PM at the Javi Limones arena.
