It is official: Diosdado Krohnert Moto is a new Real Madrid player.

The local TBS product already wears the jersey for his new club, Real Madrid, where he will play in the ACBs new U-22 League.

The U-22 League, the new U-22 League, is now a reality and will soon be launched in our country. Minister Pilar Alegría and the presidents of the FEB, the ACB, and the CSD presented the new competition, about which new details have already been revealed. Thanks to the support of the Spanish Ministry of Education, Vocational Training and Sports and the CSD, which will contribute €5 million in each of the competitions first three seasons, players will have access to guidance and scholarships that will allow them to combine their university or vocational training studies with a demanding competition tailored to their sporting needs.

The U-22 League is a new men basketball competition jointly sponsored by the ACB and the FEB. Only players under 22 years of age will be eligible to participate, and it is closely linked to academic training. This new competition will be created with the intention of welcoming generations of players who currently struggle to get regular playing time in the Endesa League due to its high level of competition, while also continuing their training in our country. It emerged as a response to the economic boom of American college basketball in the NCAA thanks to NIL rights.

It will begin in October 2025. It will be played preferably on Friday afternoons and Saturday mornings. Players born after 2004 will be able to combine it with the Endesa League. Among the initial foundation of its rules, it requires six national players on the roster during the first two seasons and seven from the third onwards. In addition, players will be eligible for scholarships to continue their university studies.

The native of the Corredor de Henares, who hailed from Torrejón during his Cadete and Junior seasons, as well as participating with our U-22 and Senior squads, will be participating with the Whites as one of fifteen ACB club representatives in this nascent competition.
