We are in the off-season, working out some of our pieces at Javi Limones pavilion, but also planning the upcoming year by announcing the first of some important reinforcements for our men youth section. And well, yes; A lightning has struck Torrejón de Ardoz.

Ibrahim Doumbia is the most recent prospect to join the Torrejón Basketball Academy setup, and already with several training sessions at the Joaquín Blume Sports Complex. The shifty floor general is getting to know his new institution and mixing well with his new teammates, some from his native country of Mali. The six foot one point guard arrives at TBS to be one of the 2006-born key cogs of our Junior A squad, the U-18 team. The Malian arrives fresh from his noteworthy performance at the FIBA U-17 World Cup in Malaga and Marbella, where he was the sixth best scorer of the whole competition averaging almost 14 points per game, in addition to being the best bucket-getter of his team.

Doumbia will bring dynamism with his dribbling and speed, and instant offense with his good outside shooting and intelligence. Welcome Ibrahim!
