Uneven match day to warm-up the weekend at TBS

To warm up the preview of what is coming to Torrejón Basketball Academy this weekend that will begin, how about if we review what happened in the past weekend in our categories? Here it is, the trusty friend: #LaCronica

The first-year Female Alevín returns to action this March 18 at 6:00 p.m., at Spinola Chamartín house. The category is hanging in with a record of 2-1 in this phase of the FBM season, in Madrid. Wohoo, girls!

The first-year Alevín Masculine did not have a good day against Alcobendas B (79-28): From the beginning the superiority of the rival was made clear with a first score of 9-0 for them. However, the first points came in the second quarter when advantages and gaps were found in the defense with the tightest quarter of the match (14-11). The problem with the passes and the great defense of the locals meant that the game ended up closed for them in the last quarter despite the great efforts of our team. We do not know the victory yet in the phase, in these four games.

Our Alevin 2nd Year vs. San Agustín A had the best match of the second phase for the team (52-35), despite the fall. At the break, the team was ahead by 2 and the defense was very good. The 4th sixth was the difference in the match and in the end it could not be. Every weekend the team is gaining more confidence and playing better. Aaron Aller González was the top scorer with 17 points. Lucas Ransanz Jiménez managed to score 11, which included 2 3P shots. We go ahead again this March 12 vs Buen Consejo at Blume, to look for that long-awaited first victory of the phase.

The second-year Alevín Feminino made an effort but it was not enough (76-25) against Basket Veritas Pozuelo, in a difficult visitors duel. Complicated setback against a direct rival. The girls will face Movistar Estudiantes "Leslie" this March 12 at Javi Limones, at 12:45.

Pre-infant pressed the accelerator (46-89) and never looked back, beating Saltium Alcorcón Basket B in a good way and as a visitor. This coming weekend, Basketball Alcalá awaits the boys in Alcalá de Henares, at its headquarters of Espartales. That match will be on March 12 at 5:45 p.m.

Infantil Azul vs. Valdemoro was played last weekend and the category was defeated (56-29). Complicated and physical match. Even so, the team never sank and they continued to compete until the last second of the match. The team had good moments of sharing the ball, making good cuts to the rim, running in transition. Aaron Aller González was the top scorer with 15 points. After almost a month off, Marcos Roldán returned to compete and managed to score 6 points.

Infantil A surpassed the barrier of one hundred points. Tremendous victory of our 2008-born group (100-53) over Baloncesto Villalba, despite the many casualties, the boys achieved the mathematical classification for the Playoffs. A great first quarter of 24-6 served to break the game very soon, but without trusting and winning all the quarters. We have to travel to Collado Villalba this weekend to face this rival, on March 13.

Yellow Cadet vs. European Villanueva del Pardillo: after a first half in which the defensive level was evident with a very tight score (7-11). We went to the second part to continue increasing that advantage. But the success from outside the opponent and the lack of inspiration in attack in which many easy chances were missed, caused the rival to get ahead on the scoreboard ending (25-22) for them. It is the first fall in this phase, and we are with a record of 3-1 in the general FBM table.

The Women Cadet could not get the key and this time we lost to Ensanche de Vallecas (47-31). It was an even game until the last quarter, but we lacked more teamwork and grit to continue in the game.

Preferred Cadet suffered a painful defeat in a game that we could win (54-53), against Distrito Carabanchel Amarillo 06. They are our escorts, 1-2 in the table, and with that victory they equal us at the top in this phase with a record from 3-1. Tomorrow we duel against Isaac Newton Rosa is key to cementing the group aspirations, and it will be away.

Our Cadet Torrejón Basketball B could not come through against Ricopia Funbal Alcalá C B J A (44-75). We hope to be able to lift this tough phase in which we have been overcome, trying to find the first victory of this current course against this same rival, although in Alcalá this time at 1:00 p.m. on Sunday 13.

Real Canoe beat us in the Flying Fish (76-50) to our Cadet A. Two of Canoe arreones was worth them to go off the scoreboard. More claw and defensive concentration were missing. Individually, we must highlight the great match of Samuel Chukwnwugha Galán, who has been rising like the sea tide in recent games. We will seek revenge against this same team, on March 13 at Limones at 7:30 p.m.

After getting a great game out of them for a one-point victory, the Junior Preferred once again beat C.B Pizarro Campus Ávila (48-67) convincingly and as visitors. Thus, we extend our unbeaten record in this phase of the FBM league, to 6-0, and precisely against our closest rival again, this team. Well done, guys!

We could not secure the key with a double win, since Basketball Torrejón B lost this time (52-49) on a visit, at Colmenar Viejo B. We maintain the leadership of the FBM table in this category, although this defeat takes away the undefeated record unfortunately.

Junior B continues to rise and has just beaten Baloncesto Alcalá (81-53). We will measure ourselves this March 13 against this same rival, to seek to continue narrowing the advantage and score another undefeated day.

Our Junior A liked it and won over San Viator at Limones last day, and now it is time to visit them. We played early, at 9:30 in the morning and we look to extend our unbeaten run in the phase.

The Sub 22 pressed the accelerator (93-58) against visiting Isaac Newton, and we won the particular key. Good game from our team, driven by a great defense after the break. We have to face Olímpico 64 and we continue with a record of 6-0 and looking to extend to seven, this undefeated.

Sensational victory, without setbacks for the National Senior (102-67) against Basket Veritas at Javi Limones. We highlight the young Chileans Branko Coro, and Manuel Flores, who have taken a step forward and are already important pieces. We meet again against this rival, on a visit to Somosaguas, and we want that long-awaited victory 12. We are in sixth place in the table of the First National VIPS League, after the last consecutive victories.
