Only some of our big categories played last weekend, and with this premise we do the usual review in #LaCronica. Here, where you can keep up to date with everything that happens at Torrejón Basketball Academy:

Infantil A easily beat Ricopia Funbal Alcalá C.B.J.A (86-46) by a difference of forty points at Javi Limones. With this victory, we are second in the table with a record of 6-2, escorting Olímpico 64, which has a record of 7-1. Next March 6th we will play against Baloncesto Villalba at 4:00 p.m.

The Yellow Cadet did their homework and kept the path of victory, after defeating European Villanueva del Pardillo B (37-33) at home. Record of 3-0 in this FBM phase, waiting for the second leg, this March 5.

Our Cadete Torrejón Basketball B was displaced at Javi Limones (28-63), losing to Olímpico 64. We have not seen the light after the tunnel in the Silver Group at this stage of the season, with eight straight losses. We hope to pick up next March 6 at 10:00, at home.

Cadete A battled bravely against the Spanish Basketball Academy (83-77), visiting Alcorcón. A much tighter match than the classification suggested and escort the undefeated Real Madrid. The game reached the final sprint with minimal differences (75-72 at 2:30), when the final stretch of the SBA took place. Despite the defeat, Alonso Puiggros was the top scorer with 19 points. On the next match date, we will play against Real Canoe in Madrid on March 6 at 11:15.

The Preferred Junior had a great game and by the minimum score, they knew how to beat C.B Pizarro Campus Ávila in our pavilion (67-66). Thus, we extend our unbeaten record in this phase of the FBM league, to 5-0, and precisely against our closest rival, this team. Well done, guys!

Basketball Torrejón B competed and defeated Colmenar Viejo B (68-54) to also maintain the league leadership, and also our immaculate record without defeats in the phase. We will play against this same rival in his pavilion, on March 5 at 1:00 p.m.

Double match day of our Junior B and double positive record, to increase the good feelings of the group in the league. The first of the double round, (70-57) over C.B Estudio. A victory for our juniors in a postponed match despite some absent players, the success of Sebastian Inzulsa and Marco Pérez paved the way for our victory. Then, Junior B took homework again (86-48) against C.B Isaac Newton. Great triumph of our boys from the defense and the counterattack, which imposed a high rhythm. Highlight the game of Deivid Dosunmu and the last game of the academy player Benjamin Ferhmann, who returns to Chile and is expected to join the training camp of the Chilean U-18 team, which prepares the FIBA South American Championships of the category to be played in Venezuela, in a few days. We are galloping as leaders with 7-0 in the group. Yes!

Our Junior A was on point this past weekend and won. After playing a game that was complicated on the visit in the second half at the Antonio Díaz Miguel in Madrid against Zentro Dragons, at home we were able to beat them without problems (97-61) almost reaching the 100-point barrier. Another team that is undefeated in the phase, also with 7-0. Waiting to play vs San Viator this March 6 at 5:45 p.m. at Javi Limones.

The Under 22 pressed the accelerator (79-52) against Isaac Newton with a great victory. Our Sub 22 went to the challenge on a difficult court, a game that was complicated after the elimination of Nacho Gallego due to a double technical foul on the bench, and that with the reins of Tomás was widening differences. Highlight the match between Branko Coro and Juanma Mateo among the individual peaks. We do not know the defeat at this stage, and we will try to extend the winning streak to 6 when we meet this same rival at Javi Limones, on March 6 at 7:30 p.m.

The Senior National weekend could not have been better honestly. Firstly, with a victory (91-67) in a pending match over Baloncesto Alcobendas. Tremendous record of our first team in the game postponed midweek against Alcobendas. Our people broke the game in favor in the first quarter with great scoring success from Branko Coro and Iván Sánchez. The good defense and rebounding display of Mario Pérez and Carlos Abentín helped to increase the advantages. And what to say afterwards? We are back in the fight in the First National, VIPS League. The National Senior (81-74) won twice, the second game that is over C.B Coslada. The important victory of our team against a rival who won the first leg by a difference of two points. A very even match where no one had great advantages, but the success of Roberto Donaire and the outside shot managed to unbalance the balance.
